This Month's Dream Adventures
The one day Kiwi Safari Special

Option 1 - The Northland Safari

Our professional, fully-licensed Driver/Guide will come to your designated Auckland pick-up point, be it your home, workplace, hotel, Auckland Airport or the cruise ship terminal on Auckland‘s downtown waterfront.

You’ll travel in one of our luxury vehicles in comfort and style to the beautiful Bay of Islands for a full-day‘s fun and excitement.

On the way you’ll travel through the north’s incredible scenery, including spectacular views from the top of one of Northland’s highest mountain ranges, the Brynderwyns, before taking refreshments at Whangarei Town basin, New Zealand’s " Riviera of the North ".

On arrival at Waitangi, the birthplace of the nation, you’ll have several options.

Tour the historic grounds where New Zealand’s founding document, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed on 6 February, 1840, between the native Maori Chiefs and the British Crown . Visit the house of original British Resident Minister James Busby built in 1833, later to become the scene of some of the most important events in New Zealand’s history.

Enjoy the sights of Paihia and take in a sumptuous lunch at one of the local restaurants.

Travel by ferry to Russell, formerly known as Kororareka, the first permanent European settlement and sea port in New Zealand and home of New Zealand’s oldest church.

Or take a cruise aboard one of the luxury vessels following the path of the original 1927 'Cream Trip' that will take you on a journey back in time as you cruise past the secluded islands of the Bay, delivering essential supplies and mail to island residents. See dolphins in their natural environment and if conditions are suitable, try swimming alongside these inquisitive creatures - a once in a lifetime experience.

If fishing is your passion, you could join the friendly and experienced crew of a comfortable, fully-equipped and licensed sport fishing charter boat for a fast and furious 4 hour adventure in “ The Bay ”, targeting one of New Zealand’s most popular ocean delicacies, the world-famous Bay of Islands Snapper.

On the return journey you will have the option of sampling fine wines at one of Northland’s oldest vineyards or amazing honey products at a real apiary, before returning to Auckland at the place of your choice.

Prices will vary depending on the activities you choose but can be from as little as
NZ$ 250.00 per person including transport and light refreshment. ( Minimum 4 persons - Subject to availability )

On the way you’ll travel over the Bombay Hills, past the mighty Waikato River and on through the Hauraki Plains, before stopping for refreshments at Matamata, home of the “Hobbiton” filming location for Sir Peter Jackson’s epic movies.

From there, you’ll climb over bush clad hills and through the magnificent Mamaku - Kaimai Forest Park, where you’ll see New Zealand’s natural native forest up-close at it’s unspoiled best.

On arrival at Lake Rotorua, where the rivers, streams and lakes provide world-class fishing for both Rainbow and Brown Trout, you have several options to take in the local attractions.

Visit “ Te Puia “ and the Pohutu Geyser. Experience a geothermal wonderland and learn about the indigenous culture of Aotearoa ( New Zealand ) from tangata whenua
( the people of the land ) at their ancestral home, Rotowhio marae.
